TANDEM SKYDIVE
A Tandem skydive allows you to experience the thrill of freefall skydiving with just a brief training session. You will skydive harnessed to the front of a fully qualified parachuting instructor from 10,000ft. You will enjoy an adrenaline packed freefall reaching terminal velocity at 120mph, followed by approximately 5 minutes flying gently to the ground under the parachute.
Everything is included in our prices - there are no hidden surprises. The only additional option is the video and photo package, which you can choose to add on the day of your Tandem Skydive subject to availability (but book in advance to avoid disappointment!). All of our skydiving prices include provisional membership to British Skydiving which provides third party liability insurance during your skydive experience.
Please note that for tandem skydives there is a MAXIMUM WEIGHT (fully clothed) of 95 kg

A tandem skydive is the thrill of a lifetime, from the rush as you jump from the aircraft, to the realisation you're in freefall, to the moment the parachute begins to open above you. Remember it all forever and share with your family and friends with our video and photo package.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON YOUR SKYDIVE
TRAINING
After signing in at reception you will be introduced to one of our experienced tandem instructors. Your instructor will tell you everything you need to know about the equipment, talk you through the aircraft flight, the skydive, and the parachute ride and landing, and will help you practise the required body positions.
THE AIRCRAFT FLIGHT
You'll be fitted into your harness. Then you and your instructor will board the aircraft. Once inside the aircraft your instructor will secure your harness to theirs and the aircraft will take off. You'll ride up to altitude in one of our Cessna Grand Caravan aircraft that have been specially converted for skydiving. During the 20 minute flight you can enjoy the beautiful views of the British countryside.
THR SKYDIVE
When you reach the exit altitude of around 14000ft you'll begin moving towards the door. The adrenaline kicks in as you and your instructor jump from the aircraft and begin accelerating to terminal velocity. You will reach speeds of over 120mph - it's really noisy and very windy - for around 45 to 50 seconds. At 5,000ft your instructor will deploy the parachute slowing you down for a gentler ride.
UNDER THE PARACHUTE
After the parachute has been deployed you'll be able to talk to your instructor and even try steering. You'll practice the landing position and have time to enjoy the amazing views. If you want to try some spins tell your instructor and they'll dive the parachute. If you prefer a gentler ride just let us know. Your instructor will take control for the landing and you can breathe a sigh of relief when back on solid ground. After landing tell your cameraman all about your skydiving experience while the adrenaline's still pumping!
